Edda Vite, presidenta del Patronato del Sistema DIFH acompañada por Zorayda Robles, secretaria de Salud del Estado de Hidalgo, inauguraron el Albergue y Posada Amigable de la Mujer Menstruante y Embarazada, institución pionera en México que otorgará alojamiento, alimentación y atención a mujeres embarazadas de escasos recursos que se encuentren en cualquier etapa de la gestación.
Este espacio también brindará acompañamiento e información con perspectiva de género a niñas y adolescentes que comiencen su ciclo biológico de menstruación, para ello se destinaron espacios informativos y de terapia que promuevan la ruptura de paradigmas sobre la sexualidad y el autoconocimiento.
En su mensaje Edda Vite afirmó que para la Familia DIFH y el gobierno del estado, presidido por Julio Menchaca Salazar, procurar el bienestar y pleno desarrollo de las mujeres y adolescentes es un tema prioritario para alcanzar la transformación de Hidalgo.
